
Vanguards Gallery is a juried installation at MRketNY featuring select men’s brands that are influencing the way men dress. The presentation will be curated by Michael Macko, formerly the fashion director at Details magazine and vice president of fashion, public relations and special events for men’s and home at Saks Fifth Avenue. Marrying classic design, steeped with a modern edge, these hand-picked brands will appeal to both progressive stores and iconic retail establishments.

Armstrong & Wilson
Ontario Armstrong and Clifton Wilson, two of America’s best-dressed men have partnered together to design a collection of pocket squares, using classic fabrics in unique pattern and color combinations. This season they will also launch neck wear.
Atelier Rotenier
Renowned jewelry designer, Robin Rotenier, creates an exciting new collection featuring rugged semi-precious stones on antiqued silver chains and colored leather wrist wraps with sterling buckles.
Duncan Quinn Blue Label
Duncan Quinn brought a bit of Savile Row to Nolita when he opened his bespoke tailoring shop; he now launches a ready-to-wear collection of suits, shirts and ties with his signature color palette and swagger.
Edward Armah
Launched when he started making custom bow ties for Andre 3000, Edward Armah’s collection of furnishings combines bold colors and patterns with luxe fabrics. Armah also designs classic men’s items like dressing gowns and ascots, as well as reversible bow ties and cummerbunds with pockets for cell phones.
Isaiah Hemmingway
Isaiah Hemmingway has spent his entire career in the fashion industry as a tailor. This season he launches his eponymous collection of urban preppy tailored clothing, shirts and ties using a vibrant array of color and pattern.
Libero Ferrero
Libero Ferrero are three brothers – Matthew, Adam and Peter Lafferty – who have created a collection of leather bags named after their grandfather and handmade in the U.S. This collection is modern accessible luxury at its best and has already caught the eye of GQ editors.
Verri
The classic Italian brand which helped define the 80′s is back – bigger, better and bolder than ever. Verri Uomo is a collection of sleek seperates designed for the modern man.
William Watson
William Watson has worked for years in the menswear industry as a designer before launching his signature collection. This talented British designer is a name you are going to be familiar with. It’s classic, impeccable tailoring seen through the eyes of Japanese animation.
